Abstract:

The fundamental objective of the proposal is to ensure that students have equal opportunities to access mobility programs regardless of their origins and/or condition, which is linked to one of the priorities of the action that promotes inclusion and diversity. It aims for the voice of students to be heard when designing mobility programs, which will allow future projects to be more inclusive, and transparent, analysing important aspects such as the concept of the “hidden curriculum” that may exclude certain students from acquiring international experiences. The participation of several countries and partners of different profiles is necessary to achieve the objective that could not be achieved in just one of them. The whole approach of the proposed activities goes in the direction of achieving the results that cover these needs perceived by the authors. The target groups, which are the university staff and students, are clearly identified, with a special focus on the less represented. Each of the 5 results are presented with a specific analysis of the needs of the target groups to which they are directed, indicating in each case the expected impacts and the innovative nature and the expected transfer potential. However, the proposal does not contemplate the mission to create synergies between the fields of education, youth and sport. It only addresses the incorporation of students as a source of information and experimentation to achieve the final products and does not integrate either sport or the improvement of capacities for the preparation of the young people with whom you work for the job market. For this reason, the requested financing is mainly concentrated in the hours invested by teachers / researchers to get a good diagnosis and good final products. The training is mainly for the staff and academics in charge of internationalization in each of the partner institutions. As a suggestion for improvement, it is proposed to give the less represented students a bigger role in the very conception of the proposal, taking into account their perception to identify the needs and define the way to approach them, thus enriching the homogeneous perspective provided by the universities as a whole. The training activities and partners should be linked with European projects such as EURES and with institutes specialized in Youth and employment such as INJUVE (Spain) or others present in the partner countries.
